This is a great place for families to come and unwind with an 8 seater open bar, fire pit with seating, outdoor dining table, carnival lighting and it wouldn’t be complete without a BBQ. Perfect for winter nights by the fire or summer sunset views over the mountains.

Sit back and take in the mountain views with 6 super comfortable armchairs and a fully fenced, open grass area to enjoy the sunshine during the daytime.

Living room - Front

Also known as “The Reading Room”, this is the perfect place to unwind away from the noise of the busy lifestyle. Why not read a book, chat with friends or have some time to yourself.

Living room - Back

The heart of the retreat! Our stunning main living room looks out to acreage views through french doors, and has plenty of seating for everyone. A wood fireplace adds to the ambience and keeps those winter nights cosy. Entertain the family with a TV, DVD player with a large selection of DVD’s and board games for the kids and those competitive adults! This room is south facing with the combination of air-conditioner and fans to cool the place down during summer.

Kitchen / Dining

They say the kitchen is the heart of the home… well in this case it sure is! With views of both the front and back of the house you are always part of the conversation with four bar stools at the bench. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including an oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, kettle and toaster etc.

The dining area has a beautiful timber table with bench seats and head of table chairs.

Master Bedroom - 1

Our master bedroom has a super comfortable queen size bed, is fully air conditioned and heated with a split system. It also has a fan and ensuite. Enjoy the huge wardrobe with loads of hanging space. All bedding included.

Bedroom - 2

Our cute second bedroom consists of a double bed, wardrobe and fan. Beautifully decorated, it’s a great room to rest your head.

Bedrooms - 3/4

Also known as “The Bunk House”, this room has one door to both bedrooms 3 and 4 and includes a double bed and two single bunk beds. It’s perfect for the kids retreat or for families with small kids that want to sleep in the same room. It’s fully air conditioned with a split system plus a fan, with room to store your bags and clothes while you stay.

Facilities

The Retreat offers a number of facilities such as:

Garage – Single long lock up garage with roller-door, big enough to store your car or boat.

Car parking – enough for two cars in the driveway and two on the front of the property.

Wifi – We offer wifi and you will get a unique password for our network when you check in. (Mostly reliable, but please note due to the remote area it can drop out).

NO PETS / No Smoking – Sorry no pets allowed, feel free to smoke outside of the property area.

Child friendly – We have tried to make the house as child friendly as possible, however there is direct access to acreage in the backyard which is only divided by a barb wire fence. You will need to keep an eye on your child/ren at all times while out the back. We have a fully enclosed front yard with grassy area for children to play.
